Bristol was fun huh?

We only did the Saturday but it was pretty fun!

Though catching the train at silly O'Clock was a little crazy!

We were placed between The lovely Destiny Blue and Neil Gibson (who also could smell the vinegar all afternoon too....)

Our table is getting filled with more and more comics every con :)

It's a really great feeling.

Bristol Expo was the first selling day for Bubbles&Eliza-part 2 and FEY volume 2.

It was great to see people buying our comics and walking away really happy about their purchase.

Good News Everyone!

We've managed to get a last minute table at MCM so we WILL be attending.

Bubbles & Eliza- part 2  and FEY - volume 2  will both be there.

Both comics went to print a few days ago , so they should be with us by Friday in time for Bristol  Expo.

We're all busy, busy, busy , prepping for our deadlines.

Sadly all tables for this May's MCM Expo in London have sold out.

RGAG are on the waiting list for a table but it looks like we won't be attending .

This is the first time since starting up that we won't be there so we are a little sad, but not to worry we are lined up for lots more events.

Such as READCON , Reading University's very own con! Organized by the Reading Anime Society.

RabbitYak and Angelkaede will be at Reading's Oxfam Bookshop tomorrow between 11am - 2pm.

Working on their current projects.

Angelkaede will be traditionally inking FEY pages using dip pens and ink.

RabbitYak will be Colouring the below 2 pages of SPEAK.EASY! using Letraset Promarkers.

If you are curious about how to use either one then stop by and watch.

Updates!

Hey guys!!!

Expo weekend went by in a flash huh?!

Work has begun and our artists are cracking on with new storyboards!!!

Kirstie is working on FEY part 2 - stay tuned for more info!!

Stephanie has begun work on Bubbles & Eliza part 2 - and is working on the plot for 'Open Book Tea Room'  so she can begin work as soon as she's finished with B&E.

Ellie - though just starting at university is slowly working on her first solo comic 'Artemis' 

Autumn has gone to work on an independent project - more updates on this when we have some.

We will soon be opening an Etsy account so you guys can order our comics online!!!

MCM Expo 26/10/12 - 28/10/12

It's that time of year again folks!!!

As usual Red Garden Artist Group will be in comic village.
We've narrowed down our table count and increased the comics we have available!

At long last Ellie,Silvia, Imogen and Shirin makes their debut!

St.Judes was the first manga project by Demon Donuts.

It goes to print shortly and will be available at Octobers MCM Expo!

Our comic Updates!

Ellie and Silvia are finishing up the screentoning on St. Judes! Completion for this long awaited comic is around the corner! 

Kirstie is very nearly halfway with FEY - part 1 

Autumn is working her way through her first comic as a member of RGAG, 'RUIN INVESTIGATORS'  with incredible speed!! 

Hannah is finished her draft script for chapter one of her steampunk comic. - title still to be determined!

Ellie has just revealed the plot summary for ARTEMIS to us. Check out the Demon Donuts page for more info!!!

Stephanie is coming to a finish with BUBBLES & ELIZA - part 1 - ready for release September 15th.

All our artists a re planning to have new prints associated with their shiny new comics and future releases.

So be prepared for some glorious artwork!!

We have quite a few events lined up in the next few months.

We've had to start prepping for it early this year!!

As a few of you are aware we usually have about 4 tables at Expo.
We are cutting ourselves down to two in October.

and with several new comics and a mass load of new prints, we are test-running our layout in the hopes that we can fit it all on there!

Updates - News

Updates:

Mr Bubbles -The decision has been made to divide the book into 2 parts (due to Illness and lack of time)

      Part one will be released in September as planned and part 2 will be released as soon as it is finished.

Fey - Currently Kirstie is nearing the halfway point. Part 1 should be ready for October.

St. Judes - Ellie is still inking away, fingers are crossed for a release soon.

We also have 2 new members soon to be joining our ranks.

Stay tuned for new profiles.

Although our artists are not attending Manchester MCM expo, Frank (Red garden manga bookshop) will be attending in our stead. So we will have a table with goods available.

Interested in Joining the Group?

We've had a few people inquiring at events about joining the group.

So to make the process easier here is what we need you to do.

• Email us! - If you don't email us we wont know how to contact you!

• Do you have a website or DA account? - if you do please attach a link in your email!

• Do you have a comic idea? - we want to push the comics out more than prints. If you have an idea for a comic, or even better if you've already started one.  Please send us at least 2 pages, this is for 2 reasons.

1) To see how well you can create comics realistically. (creating comic pages is alot harder than it seems)

2) Alot of DA accounts do fan art. We can't tell your skill level from this and we want to see originality!

• If you a writer with a story we can find an artist to suit your story.
• If you are an artist without a story let us hook you up!

• If you have both then share them with us! we want to help you get your work out there in the public eye!
